Вчера тайские  солдаты прорвались за баррикады демонстрантов и ворвались в  укрепленный лагерь «краснорубашечников» в центре Бангкока. Произошло  несколько серьезных стычек, и протестующие объявили, что сдаются. Многие  сдались, но некоторые продолжили сражаться, используя гранатометы,  пистолеты, рогатки и поджоги. Они подожгли 20 объектов в столице  Таиланда. На этом этапе пока неясно, сколько человек погибло или  получило ранения. Известно, что, по крайней мере, погибли пять человек,  включая двух журналистов, и десятки получили ранения.
